On 18 September, at Quang Trung Meeting Hall, Binh Dinh Garment JS Company held Family Festival - Honor the Laborer. This is an activity in a series of events to celebrate the 5-year anniversary of establishment and development of the Company (2006 – 2011).

On 18 September, at Quang Trung Meeting Hall, Binh Dinh Garment JS Company held Family Festival - Honor the Laborer. This is an activity in a series of events to celebrate the 5-year anniversary of establishment and development of the Company (2006 – 2011).

Attending are heads of departments, industries of Binh Dinh province; heads of National Textile Garment Corporation of Vietnam and nearly 1,500 employees and workers of Binh Dinh Garment JS Company. On this occasion, the Company commended and rewarded many individuals achieving excellent performance in the emulation for the first 6 months of 2011 together with their families – who have silently looked after of their family member so that they can strive for the development of the Company.

Before 2006, Binh Dinh Garment Company had only around 900 laborers with three factories. It got into difficulties with low production conditions, inconsiderable, out-of-date machinery and equipment, poor infrastructure, low revenue and capacity. As a result, the worker’s life run into difficulties and the human resource fluctuated.

However, since 2006, after becoming a member of May Nha Be Corporation (NBC), under NBC’s positive support in the financial aid and the workforce aspects, Binh Dinh Garment JS Company gradually prospered and developed. If there were 1,277 laborers with average salary of 1.25 million VND/month in 2007, it was 5,000 laborers with average salary of over 3.1 million VND/month in 2010. To obtain this achievement, besides great effort of Binh Dinh Garment, it is the big investment of NBC to directly switch purchase orders, management staff, technical personnel of the Corporation to operate the manufacture, technology transfer, personnel training in the local … It made a turning point for the growth of Binh Dinh Garment Company today.
Binh Dinh province currently has 11 garment enterprises with the total capacity of more than 17 million products per year. As of August of 2011, apparel enterprises of the province exported for many orders worth over 600 billion dong, increased by 30% compared with the same period last year. Binh Dinh Garment JS Company together with An Nhon Garment JS Company and Tam Quan (established to expand the production after Binh Dinh Garment JS Company joined NBC) contributed to the development of garment industry of Binh Dinh province. The total revenue obtained 177 billion dong in 2010, increased 13% compared to the plan; exports value reached 32.6 million USD, raised 9% compared to the plan; payment to the state budget of nearly 12 billion dong.             

As of September 2011, NBC established and developed 7 member companies in Binh Dinh province, in which Binh Dinh Garment JS Company, An Nhon, Tam Quan have obtained sustainable development; An Phat Garment JS Company started its operation since April 2011; Thinh Phat Garment went into operation since May 2011; Hung Phat Garment (specialized in jacket) has just gone into operation at No. 2 Mai Hac De, Quy Nhon City… Expected in 2011, member companies of NBC in Binh Dinh province shall obtain the consumption revenue of approximately 518 billion dong, exports value reaches 100 million USD. In the near future, NBC keeps making further investment to Binh Dinh region to develop production, contribute to the sustainable growth of the province’s industry as well as create more jobs for local laborers and take part in stabilizing social security.
