Chairman Board of Directors NBC receive Golden Rose Cup in 2010

At 19pm on 06 March 2011, at the Saigon Opera House, there was the ceremony to award prizes of “Outstanding Women Entrepreneurs in 2010 – Golden Rose Cup” held by Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry in coordination with Vietnam Women’s Union Centre, live on VTV1 and VTV9.

At 19pm on 06 March 2011, at the Saigon Opera House, there was the ceremony to award prizes of “Outstanding Women Entrepreneurs in 2010 – Golden Rose Cup” held by Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry in coordination with Vietnam Women’s Union Centre, live on VTV1 and VTV9.
“Outstanding Women Entrepreneurs - Golden Rose Cup” is annual prize rewarded by Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) in coordination with Vietnam Women’s Union on the occasion of 8 March. Started since 2006, Golden Rose Cup has become an important motivation for Vietnam women entrepreneurs to strive and make further contribution to the society sofar. 

For the year 2011, the criteria to select candidates qualifying for Outstanding Women Entrepreneurs - Golden Rose Cup remained to focus on the individual achievements in the role of leader of their enterprises and team achievements, of which mandatory requirement was that their turnover shall be continuously increased during three consecutive years from 2008 to 2010 and the expected growth rate in 2011 shall be similar to or above last year result.

One of 100 Outstanding Women Entrepreneurs winning glory in the evening of 6 March 2011 was Ms. Duong Thi Ngoc Dung – Chairwoman of Board of Directors of Nha Be Garment Corporation (NBC).
Ms. Dung is a female entrepreneur possessing the spirit of innovation, dynamic creativity in management, operation and has made many significant contribution to the development of the Corporation such as: bravely invest in renovating technology equipment, developing trademarks, expanding its scale, building up factories and promoting production capacity and product quality… As a result, the turnover of the entire system of NBC during past years continuously increased with the average rate of 20 – 24%/year.

Ms. Dung also got many achievements in the research and application of new advances in technology.  She was rewarded with two prizes in the science of creativity for female by Ministry of Industry and Trade, the certificate of creative labor by Vietnam General Confederation of Labor... With the spirit of scarifying herself for work, completing assignments effectively, obtaining many outstanding results in business activities, creating more jobs for community and society, making positive contribution to the career of industrialization of the country, Ms. Dung received many honorable titles such as: certificate of satisfactory progress by the Prime Minister; the Third Labor Medal; national-wide emulation fighter … At the present, she is a good example for workers and employees of NBC to study and strive.
