Conference of preliminary tasks summarization for the first 6 months and tasks implementation for the last 6 months of 2017

On 8th July 2017, at Carmelina, Ho Tram, Binh Thuan, Nha Be Garment Corporation JSC or NBC successfully organized the conference of preliminary tasks summarization for the first 6 months and tasks implementation for the last 6 months of 2017. The Conference was attended and chaired by Mr. Pham Phu Cuong – Vinatex Deputy General Director, Chairman of the Managing Board of NBC; Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Lan – NBC General Director, and other ladies and gentlemen from the Executive Board, the Board of General Directors, the Board of Directors and Deputy Directors, heads and deputy heads of departments, and more than 120 delegates from the member units of the system.

Overview of the Conference

In 2017, despite many economic difficulties and challenges, under the leadership of the Managing Board and the Board of General Directors, combined with the determination of nearly 30,000 of managers and staff, for the first 6 months of 2017, NBC has basically completed set plans. This is an important premise. Combining the 2017 slogan “For the satisfaction of customers” with aggressive directing approaches of the Leaders and the support of all managers and staff, NBC shall surely and successfully complete the 2017 plan set by the Managing Board and the Board of General Directors.

To contribute to the report and the proposal of methods to ensure completion of the 2017 plan, members of the Managing Board, the Executive Board, and Directors of member units raised arguments, commented on the current status of the Corporation, explained ongoing problems, and provided honest opinions to help improve NBC, ensure completion of the 2017 business plan, and help the system to sustainably develop. The arguments focused on: domestic market and forecasting of domestic garment needs; assessing NBC system and things to do in the next period, manufacturing technology for man’s suits, application of information technology, ERF software in management and manufacture; management level of domestic and foreigner companies; work of human resources development for the future…

To conclude the Conference, Mr. Pham Phu Cuong, NBC Chairman of the Managing Board, highly rated the achievement and contributed opinions of delegates. Those opinions were very direct and open, showing responsibility and constructiveness. At the same time, the Chairman mentioned that the managers and staff need to honestly acknowledge their withdraws and weakness to improve, and requested that all units focus and follow the plans to successfully complete 2017 missions.
