Department of Energy fulfilled the saving plan of 6 billion VND in 2013

In order to thoroughly implement the saving policy of Board of Management across the board, create a wide movement and promote the self-consciousness among the entire staff of the Corporation, Department of Energy has continually made many improvements in fuel, equipment, systems and working methods as well as had many innovations and breakthroughs in the management.  As a result, it helped NBC to save over 6 billion VND in 2013.

The lighting system has been improved in factories

So far, the entire NBC systems consume coal and firewood which will save around 1 billion VND/year compared to consumption of coal and electricity earlier.  In addition, many other energy saving programs such as turning off the entire electrical system, boiler at lunchtime; synchronously turning off systems using electricity at 17h15 daily, at the end of working day; using compact instead of fluorescent lights; reducing the general lighting in the sewing workshops (150 per 500 bulbs, 40W each) and using those lighting partial on each sewing machine instead (0.1 W per lamp); replace the standard machines (250W) with electronic machines saving up to 50% of electrical energy; using the steam from the boilers used in the manufacturing for cooking in the canteen instead of using gas etc. ..

Entering into 2014, the Corporation made plan on consumption of energy and consistently and aggressively put them into operation in order to achieving the best possible results in energy savings. Thanks to the application of synchronous and practical solutions on energy saving, NBC has saved nearly 4 billion VND for the first 6 months of 2014.  For the last half of the year, NBC determined to implement programs as set to fulfill the energy savings plan of 9.5 billion VND in 2014.
