Last 17 May 2016, during a business trip in Kien Giang and Hau Giang province, Deputy Prime Minister Vuong Dinh Hue visited Nha Be - Hau Giang Garment Factory. Receiving the delegation was Mr. Pham Phu Cuong – Board Chairman and CEO of Nha Be Garment Joint Stock Corporation together with officials in NBC
Deputy Prime Minister Vuong Dinh Hue visited the factory
Nha Be - Hau Giang Garment Factory was established and put into operation in the phase 1 at the end of 2015 with 2,000 workers. The second phase is under construction and will cover the entire capacity of the factory in 2016 reaching 4,000 workers with expected production capacity of about 30 million items/year. Deputy Prime Minister Vuong Dinh Hue appreciated the fact that the factory is constructed and commissioned in the shortest possible time by the Company and Hau Giang authority. It contributed to create jobs for local labors and develop the economy of Hau Giang province. Deputy Prime Minister Vuong Dinh Hue suggested the Company as well as the local government should pay more attention to and focus at environmental protection in industrial activities, industrial development must be accompanied with effective environmental protection.
