On 19 May 2011, on the anniversary of the 121^st Birth of President Ho Chi Minh, Nha Be Garment Joint Stock Corporation (NBC) hold the ceremony to generalize the emulation movement of stage 1 and launch the stage 2 for the year of 2011

Present at the ceremony are Ms. Duong Thi Ngoc Dung – Deputy General Director of Vietnam National Textile and Garment Group, Mr. Pham Phu Cuong – General Director of NBC together with directors and over 500 excellent representatives from entities, departments and offices.

For the implementation of directive No. 11 of Prime Minister as well as resolutions of the company for 2011, in January 2011, NBC announced the emulation movement of stage 1 with the subject “Portrait of NBC workers”. After four month of performance, the results achieved were rather good, particularly:

* Sectors won the general emulation:

Prize I: Sector IV;

Prize II: Sector II;

Prize III: Factory Veston B of Sector I.

* Groups achieved the plan as assigned:

1) Group 2 - Veston B; 2) Group 1 - Sector II; 3) Group 1 - Sector III;

4) Group 2 - Sector IV; 5)Group 6 - Sector IV; 6)Group 7 - Sector IV;

7) Group 5 - Sector V; 8) Group 4 - Factory Binh Phat.

* Individuals of all sectors achieved 4A criteria (obtained emulation title grade A for 4 consecutive months): 1,861 workers.

Though there are some entities who failed to achieve the criteria as set forth by the Corporation, all systems have expressed the incredible impetus and spirit of emulation with high determination. The result is that the productivity of all entities increased by 122% in comparison with the first four months of 2010. Quality assurance, labour safety and sanitation, fire prevention and fighting have been improved. The innovation has made good impression at the first place with many practical ideas in use, largely contributed to promote the development of production for the entire Corporation.

Based on such performance results, the Corporation made monthly bonuses based on its revenue for groups, individuals achieving excellent performance with the total amount of 1,830,354,972 VND and 5,259,446,718 VND, respectfully. At the same time, based on the regulation of emulation for stage 1 from 01 January 2011 to 30 April 2011, the Corporation also rewarded groups, individuals with the total amount of 5,988,555,183 VND. Such timely rewards partly encouraged and fostered the spirit for workers and employees to strive more to achieve the criteria as put forward by the Corporation in the near future.

In order to implement the patriotic emulation movement as called for by our dearest Uncle Ho, as well as promote the tradition of emulation movement in production of the Corporation, NBC launched the emulation movement for stage 2 from 2 May to 31 August 2011 with subject “Discipline – Skill – Productivity – No more shifts” to celebrate the 66^th anniversary of Vietnam's August Revolution and National Day. With the solidarity and unity, NBC workers and employees entirely and strongly believe that they can achieve the plan of 2011 successfully.
