International Association Clothing Designers and Executives visits Nha Be Garment Corporation (NBC)

The International Association Clothing Designers and Executives (IACDE), lead by Mr. Joachim Hensch - IACDE President, Senior Technical Director of Hugo Boss company - with over 100 leading designers, managers in the garment industry of the country in the world have exchanged expertise and visited Nha Be Garment Corporation (NBC) on the occasion of an annual conference held on September 9 in Vietnam. 

IACDE was founded in 1910, is a professional forum in global designing and garments for technical directors, patterns and senior managers as well as suppliers of global garment accessories. Currently, IACDE has more than 200 international members from the US, Canada, Mexico, Germany, Italy, India, China, Japan and other countries. This is the first time, the conference was held in Vietnam during its 101 years history of development.

The IACDE Chairman Joachim Hensch and members of the delegation were so surprised at the business scale the NBC and its orderly arrangement and high industrial hygiene...Hensch said, "I went to many places in the world, especially Asia, but has not seen any garment company is clean and well organised as NBC". More than 100 world-renowned designers and other senior managers were also surprised at the warm and cordial reception of the NBC's employees. Many designers believe that NBC is the face of Vietnamese garment industry and they really want to go back to work together.

Vieät Nam is now ranked in the top seven leading apparels manufacturers in the world, and the country also has great potential in the design industry, especially for men, according to Mr Joachim Hensch. This is a long-term development objective of the NBC as they possess many the most advanced suits and shirts production lines in the Southeast Asia. 

In a seminar on development trends in the garment industry held in Park Hyatt Hotel on September 10 in HCM City, was attended by Mrs. Hoà Thò Kim Thoa - the Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade and leaders of the Vietnam National Textile and Garment Corporation (Vinatex) and many other high-ranking officials, Hensch said that NBC is a company of international stature, like its slogan "Reach to the World" that he saw at the NBC.

In recent years, NBC has been succeeded in many markets including the US, the EU, Japan and it has been highly appreciated by international partners for its product quality and production level ... Therefore, IACDE has decided to visit and exchange at the NBC before arriving the HCM City to conduct the annual conference. Vietnamese garment industry is so proud of this event. This is an opportunity for NBC to directly contact with hundreds of big importers, as well as well-known designers from around the world, enabling NBC to increase its direct exports in the FOB (free-on-board) model instead of processing
