Management of the Corporation attend the new year opening ceremony and wish NBC a happy new year

On the first working day of Year of Dragon, Heads of Viet Nam National Textile and Garment Group (Vinatex) led by Mr. Vu Duc Giang – Chairman of the Vinatex Members’ Council, Chairman of Vietnam Textile and Apparel Association (Vitas), together with many managers and directors in the corporation attended in the new year opening ceremony and wished workers and employees of Nha Be Garment Corporation (NBC) a happy new year.

At the ceremony, the Chairman Vu Duc Giang highly evaluated the efforts of NBC during 2011 - “From any perspective, NBC still stands at the number one position in the corporation, being a true core factor of Vietnam Textile and Garment industry”, and provided the Corporation with the direction for 2012 at the same time. 

According to the Chairman Vu Duc Giang, NBC is the leading company in the Corporation with respect to building the brand name and successfully dominating the local market, the method of building brand name of Nha Be Garment is valued as a model for other members in the Corporation to follow.  Besides, NBC is the only member of the Corporation having the company specializing in transferring the modern technology for other members in the same industry for the purpose of bringing higher efficiency in production. In addition, the Chairman Vu Duc Giang also emphasized the innovations of NBC in attracting the human resource. With the attendance of many leading foreign specialists in business management, Nha Be Garment can have a quick access to the advanced technology and develop the market in the best way. Especially, during many past years, NBC still continuously provides the corporation with the high quality management team, in which the role of Ms. Duong Thi Ngoc Dung – the Chairwoman of Board of Director of Nha Be Garment, Deputy General Director of Vinatex is proved to be critical at the present.

With respect to the business plan for 2012, the Chairman Vu Duc Giang directed NBC to improve the available resources to the maximum, reconstruct the system, mobilize the dynamic, determined, enterprising and responsible human resource. Moreover, NBC should pay much attention to the recruitment and training female managers. It is expected a challenging year for 2012; however, with the young, intellectual and enthusiastic resource, the Chairman Vu Duc Giang believes that NBC will grasp the opportunities to overcome the challenges and drive towards 2013 successfully.  On the occasion of New Year, the Chairman wished entire workers and employees of NBC a happy and healthy year; wished that Nha Be Garment shall continue to enhance the solidarity, intelligence, skills and spirits to overcome all difficulties of textile and garment industry to maintain its leading position and drive toward the striking success in the future.

General Director Pham Phu Cuong reported the business plan for 2012

On behalf of NBC’s workers and employees, General Director Pham Phu Cuong thanked for the new year wishes and recognized the direction of the Chairman Vu Duc Giang. At the same time, General Director wished that leaders of Vinatex have a good health and spirits so that they can make sound policies and perform the vision of Textile and Garment Corporation successfully, jointly contribute to the incessant development of the whole country.

In light of duties and objectives for 2012 of NBC, General Director Pham Phu Cuong emphasized: “There are many challenges in the economic landscape of 2012; however, supported by determination, capacities and the tradition of solidarity of entire workers and employees in the Corporation, NBC will definitely overcome 2012 in an excellent way, stabilize the growth rate at 15-25%, further develop its infrastructure, improve human resources in the entire system from 17,000 – 19,000 workers and employees and ensure to complete the projects of expansion as set out in its own objectives”.
