Meeting of the Communist Youth Union of Nha Be Garment Corporation - JSC for the IX term (2013 - 2015)

On the afternoon of 22 June 2013, Nha Be Garment Corporation - JSC (NBC) held a meeting of the Communist Youth Union of the Corporation for the IX term (2013-2015)

Attending were Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Lan -  NBC Deputy General Director; Mr. Dinh Van Thap – Managing Director together with all Party members, Youth Union members of the entire Corporation ... Mr. Vo Nguyen Minh Tuan – the Secretary of the Youth Union of the Corporation read the report on the implementation of the resolutions of the VIII term (2010-2012).  Accordingly, regardless of the difficulties in the country and the world, thanks to the timely support of the Party Committee and Board of Directors of the Corporation together with the determination of all union members, the Youth Union of the VIII term successfully completed its assigned tasks and achieved many titles such as: the entity achieving distinct achievement in the Union activities and the youth movement (2010 - 2011 - 2012); the entity outstandingly performing and leading garment and textile clusters (2012) and other collective and individual titles awarded by Ho Chi Minh City Communist Youth Union and Central Communist Youth Union.

Entering the IX term (2013 - 2015) with the slogan of "NBC’s Youth cultivates morality, improves talent, aggressively leads the way for the development of the Corporation" on the basis of inheriting and promoting the achievements in past term, the Youth Union of the Corporation set out specific goals, directions and tasks for the next term:
Regarding the goals:
-    Raise awareness, cultivate revolutionary ideal for union members, youth people; develop the youth who will acquire patriotism, steadfast adherence to national independence and socialism ideal; nice lifestyle, law enforcement awareness, healthy lifestyles, community care and devotion.
-    The youth union movement experiences intensive activities, closely associates with completion of political tasks at the entity; promotes the pioneering spirit of union members, young people in all areas; accompany, care for the physical, knowledge, skills and industrial manner development for the youth union members; develops the youth generation acquiring skill, spirit and competence. 
-    Strengthen and build a strong Youth Union organization, improve the vitality of the union branch; focus on improving the operating quality of the youth union in Union Branches; invest in training union staff and improve the proportion of young people gathering.
-    Make a strong transformation in directions, well perform the tasks in developing the Party by the Youth union, raise the rate of outstanding union members as candidates for admitting to the Party contributing to the successful implementation of the resolutions of the Meeting of the Party Committee of the Corporation.
Regarding key tasks:
-    Improve the organizational quality of the Youth Union; focus on directing and the operating method of the Union Branch; enhance the effectiveness of the training and management of the union members; improve the quality of the Union staff.
-    Maintain and promote the results of the VIII term, strongly promote the leading and volunteer roles of the youth in undertaking assignments.

-    Make a strong transformation in directions; effectively implement and concretize the Resolutions of the Party Committee of the Corporation into specific action programs of the Youth Union, determine to fulfill the criteria as set out for the IX term.

Through results of the election, the Executive Committee of the Communist Youth Union has outstanding Union members as follows:
1. Ms. Nguyen Kim Ngan – Secretary of the Executive Committee
2. Mr. Nguyen Cuu Thinh – Deputy Secretary of the Executive Committee
3. Ms. Nguyen Thi Trieu - Member of the Standing Committee
Together with other 10 outstanding members who are members of the Executive Committee of the Communist Youth Union of the Corporation.

At the last part of the Meeting, in addition to congratulate the Executive Committee of the IX term (2013 - 2015), Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Lan - Deputy General Director, on behalf of NBC’s leaders, provided the Executive Committee of the new term with his practical comments on the objectives, orientations and tasks for the next years. He also strongly believes that "With the youth power, consistency and spirit of cultivating morality, improving talent, aggressively leading the way in all areas, plus the solidarity of all members, the young people of the Executive Committee of the new term will successfully complete assigned tasks”.
