NBC 2017 Annual Shareholder Meeting

In the morning of 10th April 2017, Nha Be Garment Corporation JSC (NBC) successfully organized the NBC 2017 Annual Shareholder Meeting with the presence of nearly 60 shareholders. In the meeting, the 2017 manufacturing and business plan was agreed, and the Managing Board’s statements on funds and dividends ratio were approved to be 25%. All the stakeholders were optimistic and believed that NBC’s goals to improve its position and power shall be achieved by the methods and the strategies agreed on in the Meeting.

NBC has many big plans and projects in 2017 in all of its main business activities, such as: continue to invest in personnel development; aggressively researching on the application of modern science and technology in manufacturing; putting into use the Duc Linh Garment project while continuing its strategy to expand manufacturing activities into Cuu Long Delta’s provinces; increasing the proportion of FOB products, focusing on developing ODM; building and improving all manufacturing areas and departments to create a spacey and reasonable working environment as part of brand building and culture building activities…

Beside the core activities of investing and manufacturing garments, NBC also uses it strengths to expand its investment through making capital contributions to many organizations. All of NBC’s investments were planned long-term, which has been bringing many values and benefits to the Corporation, increasing benefits of the shareholders and the society, as well as significantly contributing to the tremendous development of NBC in the last period.

The shareholders voted in the Meeting

All the shareholders attending the Meeting highly rated the successes that the Managing Board, the Executive Board, and nearly 30,000 managers and staff of NBC achieved in 2016 through much hard work. The shareholders also appreciate the reliability and the credibility of the Company’s business managing activities. There are still many difficulties and challenges that the Corporation has to to face in 2017. The Managing Board believes that with its responsibility, its aggressive approaches in managing and executive activities, as well as the creativity of each and every manager, and staff and the trust of customers and the shareholders, NBC shall overcome new challenges and difficulties to keep its sustainable improvement and development momentum.

NBC is starting to make new products beside suits to meet the market’s ever expanding demands in the next period.
