On March 26, Nha Be Garment Corporation (NBC) successfully organized the 2011 Employee Conference.

Attending the conference were Ms. Duong Thi Ngoc Dung - Deputy General Director of Vinatex; Ms. Nguyen Thi Tuyet Mai - Vice President of Vietnam Garment and Textile Union; NBC board of directors, union president, key staff and nearly 500 outstanding employees from across the member firms across the country.

Mr. Le Mac Thuan - Deputy General Director of NBC reported business results in 2010: industrial production value reached VND 1,332 billion (excluding subsidiaries) increased 20% compared to 2009; Total income: 1,896 billion, up 24.6% over the previous year; Export turnover: $ 303 million, up 12% compared to 2009. Expected dividend payout 2010: 20%.

In 2010, NBC has done a good job of reforming management, training and human resource development; Improved production processes; To invest in specialized machinery and equipment, especially the high-grade veston production line; To invest in expanding Tam Quan industrial complex, Phu Cat complex ... The labor care for the laborers is also well done with many practical activities, bringing about high efficiency in life as well as production. . In 2010, NBC paid special attention to quality improvement, brand development, export market consolidation and market share enhancement.

According to Mr. Pham Phu Cuong - General Director of NBC, the 2011 plan is as follows: industrial production value: 1,570 billion; Total revenue: VND2,127 billion; Export turnover: 347 million USD ... To achieve the above objectives, the entire NBC system must be truly united, determined to jointly implement the program has set out. The key issue is to increase the share of exports through FOB; Enhanced measures to improve production to save time, manpower and increase the efficiency of equipment utilization; Continue to train recruiting workers with high professional qualifications; Invest in good human resources as well as invest in advanced technology to create a breakthrough in labor productivity as well as product quality.

Mr. Cuong emphasized investment in export market as well as domestic market, focusing on high-class products to bring high added value and raise the NBC brand. With the world economic situation evolving complexly, the world's third largest economy - the Japanese market is facing many challenges from earthquakes, tsunamis, nuclear ..., 2011 will still be hidden. Contains many difficulties. Therefore NBC staffs need to be strong, flexible and keen to seize the opportunity and to move forward together.

NBC Employee Conferences are a forum for equal dialogue between employees, held annually to create a comfortable environment for employees to contribute the most practical ideas to the corporation. Workers' Conference is also a place to honor individuals who have contributed positively to the development of the Corporation as well as the textile and garment industry in Vietnam. In 2010, NBC was honored by the Vietnam Textile and Garment Group (Vinatex) to honor 10 most outstanding individuals, from senior leaders to workers directly involved in production. Nha Be Garment Corporation also honored 68 outstanding individuals and 132 emulation fighters at grassroots level. These 210 individuals are worthy of being "peacemakers", which has contributed to NBC's remarkable development over the years.

At the conference, nearly 500 typical employees from all over the country talked about issues related to production and business. The General Director of NBC also solved all comments, suggestions from workers ...

After the commendation, Chairman Nguyen Thi Thanh launched the emulation movement throughout the NBC system. Finally, the voting and signing of the Collective Bargaining Agreement 2011.
