NBC held a ceremony to launch the project of Nha Be - Hau Giang Garment Factory

On the morning of 17 June 2015, Nha Be Garment Joint Stock Corporation (NBC) held a ceremony to launch the construction of Nha Be - Hau Giang Garment Factory located at Street No. 4, Industrial and handicraft clusters, Ward 7, Vi Thanh city, Hau Giang province. This is a big project to improve the competitiveness, develop the production and consumption potentiality of products, increase profits and create jobs which will have a positive impact on the economic - social development of Hau Giang province in the future

Mr. Pham Phu Cuong - Deputy General Director of Vietnam National Textile and Garment Group, Board Chairman and CEO of NBC made a speech to launch the project 

The project with an investment capital of over VND300 billion and an area of 6 hectares is invested in infrastructure, modern equipment and machinery. The project is divided into two phases, phase 1 will be completed and put into operation in January 2000 covering creating jobs for 2,000 workers while phase 2 will focus on building and fully meeting the entire capacity of the factory in 2016 with a total of 4,000 workers.  Production capacity is expected to reach 30 million units/year, corresponding to estimated sales of USD100 -120 million/year in the first year. The factory will meet the growing demand for the domestic market as well as international markets, especially the EU, the US market.

This is one of the investment projects to expand production capacity, ensure production and business operations of the Corporation. Upon completed and put into operation, Nha Be - Hau Giang Garment is expected to produce and trade high quality clothing items such as suits, trousers, women's fashion and fashion items of all types.
