NBC held Fire Drill

For the purpose of raising awareness of fire prevention and fighting for its officials and employees, on 14 November 2012, Nha Be Garment Joint Stock Corporation (NBC) coordinated with Department of Fire Prevention and Fighting of District 4 and Public Security of District 7 to conduct the fire drill at the Corporation.

Directed the fire drill was the Steering Committee including Senior Lieutenant Colonel Van Phuoc My – Deputy Chief of Department of Fire Prevention and Fighting of District 4 - Chief Commander; Lieutenant Colonel Hoang Van Hung - Deputy Chief of Public Security of Tan Thuan Dong Ward - Deputy Commander; and Mr. Dinh Van Thap – Managing Director of NBC - Deputy Commander.

The fire drill ended successfully.  The fire fighting forces at the head office had a thorough grasp of their assigned tasks and well coordinated with professional fighting force in the right order, plan ensuring the safety of people, machinery and goods of the Corporation.
Fire drill is held once a year in order to improve skills in fire fighting, evacuation and rescue of people and property of the designated base fire team; enhance the professional skills of officers and members of the Fire prevention and fighting police force, help them to understand the characteristics of the base unit, determine the location of fire-fighting water supply, actively perform the timely and effective fire fighting when fires occur.

Through the fire drill, the awareness of the entire NBC’s staff in fire prevention and fighting and in preventing the risks of fire was also improved.  They know how to use fire tools and equipment on site proficiently to extinguish the fire as soon as discovered.  At the same time, it was also an opportunity for fire fighting forces to learn from experience, bring out measures to better coordinate with the base unit when fires actually happen.
