Last 31 October, Nha Be Garment Corporation - NBC coordinated with Fire prevention and fighting police (Fire prevention and fighting) HCMC together with Police of District 7, Military Staff Committee of District 7, Red Cross Society of District 7, Hospital of District 7, People's Committee of Tan Thuan Dong Ward, Electricity of District 7, Nha Be Water Supply Corporation to hold the fire and emergency evacuation drill rehearsal at the Corporation's headquarter.

The scenario given is that there is a large fire occurring and widely spreading to other areas in the high class shirt manufacturing building due to electric short circuit. The fire is likely to spread into factories, raw material warehouses, parking lots and causes damage to property and smoke inhalation injuries. The motto of 4 on the spots (the commander on the spot, forces on the spot, facilities on the spot and supplies on the spot), together with the relevant forces in the city has been performed on schedule. The fire is completely extinguished and rescue and evacuation is done within 45 minutes.

Fire prevention and rescue plans which take the security as the core forces are established and reviewed by NBC on a year basis. The Corporation also regularly organizes the training and communication on Regulations on Fire prevention and fighting, the regulations on fire safety for all officers and employees. From the 1st to the 5th day of every month, the Corporation carries out the inspection of fire prevention apparatus on the spot such as fire pump, hydrant, hose, reel, fire extinguisher,... as regulated; identify areas at high risk of fire and explosion to establish the fire prevention and rescue plans and allocate fire apparatus and equipment as appropriate....
