NBC improved business strategies with the implementation of LEAN projects in the production line 2, section III

On the morning of 24 May 2013, for the purpose of implementation of business strategy for 2013 and following years of the Board of Directors, General Director of Nha Be Garment Corporation - Joint Stock Company, NBC formally held a "Launching ceremony of LEAN project in the Production line 2, section III".

Attending the ceremony were Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Lan - Deputy General Director, Mr. Dinh Van Thap – Managing Director, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Cuc - Managing Director, Director of Section III,, Directors of sectors, Deputy Directors of factories directly under section A, the project specialists together with all workers and employees of section III.

For last few years, NBC has constantly innovated production technologies, business strategies as well as improved the qualifications of the Corporation’s employees.  Entering 2013 with the economy facing various difficulties and fluctuations, with the goal of "Step by step improve the production, increase labor productivity, reduce waste to stabilize and care for the life of employees", LEAN Project produced by specialists this time shall be implemented in four key topics:

 

1 /Salary group: labor stability, by changing the salary mechanism for employees in accordance with the new labour law of the government.
2 / Dragon eye group: reduce the defects
3 / Sustainability group: build stable capacity in consistent with those as set out
4 / Lightning group: Fast conversion when deploying new product code (to be implemented in June of 2013)
Through three stages as follows:
+ Stage 1: Identify the current assignment of each individual, the working year, the workmanship in charge, the assigned yield and performance norms.
+ Stage 2: Assess the capacity based on the criteria of the first stage as performed which shall be relied on to determine the salary grade of each individual.
+ Stage 3: Change the salary payment form from product based to time based, thereby to stabilize, increase labor productivity, reduce working time, encourage the skill improvement, improve the material and spiritual life and contribute to the completion of the revenue plan.

 

 

 

The implementation of LEAN projects in line 2, section III is the breakthrough first step in the organization of production and also a very valuable lesson for deployment in the entire NBC system.  The project specialist will, on the basis of scientific calculations and their experience, communicate, apply, train, organize, operate and modify to ensure that the production line can work well in accordance with the targets as set out. In addition, the high determination of the staff and employees, workers with skilled hands, intelligent minds, diligence, hard work, industriousness and high sense of discipline combined with LEAN process will bring good results for the Corporation.

Through LEAN project, the Corporation’s leaders wish to build NBC becoming an enterprise of high income workers, developing high discipline, good industrial manners, innovative thinking, creativity at work, and organizational awareness of workers employees.  Moreover, the Corporation also determines to bring stability, security to and create confidence for workers, equality in salary distribution, promote individuals and the teams to jointly make a great effort to strive to achieve high results in production, improve material and spiritual lives of the labors. Contributing to the development and sustainable growth of the entities and the Corporation.
