NBC Labour Conference 2014

In the morning of 22 March 2014, Nha Be Garment Corporation - NBC successfully held the NBC Labour Conference 2014.  Attending the conference were leaders of the corporation, trade union leaders and directors of member companies and more than 300 delegates representing all workers and employees of NBC.

In 2013, the world economy has still complicated.  However, with the collective efforts of all companies, NBC has well performed the plan as set out. Workers and employees all stand together and reach a consensus in overcoming difficulties thereby successfully fulfill assigned tasks.

After stating the business plans and implementation measures in 2014, the Conference held a voting with a consensus result on launching the emulation for the whole year and mutually agreed on the list of representatives of leaders and the laborers organizing the dialogue at the same time.  The conference also voted to pass the collective labour agreement for 2014-2016.

In answering the petition of the laborers, Mr. Pham Phu Cuong expressly addressed the issues requiring short-term and long-term solutions in the spirit of ensuring the rights of workers and implementation of business plans of the whole corporation at the same time. Mr. Cuong also emphasized the subsequent work such as: to continue the good implementation of the ERP, LEAN program, energy savings; to strengthen the quality; to develop FOB, ODM; to invest in human resource; to better take care of laborers; etc ...

Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Lan - Deputy General Director reported on business performance in 2013

After hearing the report, General Director analyzed and evaluated the achievements and limitations in details of each department and unit; thereby, set out the directions, missions and specific targets assigned for each unit and NBC in 2014 as well as in the future. 

Also at the Conference, the executive committee of Labor Union presented the general report summarizing the performance of the collective labor agreement in 2013. Accordingly, although NBC encountered various difficulties in production and business, NBC always took interested in securing the employment and taking care of its workers and employees ...  Moreover, NBC also organized many community-oriented social activities and the Party, Trade Union, Youth Union’s activities which were performed outstandingly.

After more than 2 working hours, the Labour Conference 2014 ended successfully.
