NBC medical station celebrate Vietnamese Physicians' Day

On the occasion of 58th anniversary of Vietnamese Physicians' Day (02/27/1955 - 02/27/2013), NBC held a meeting with doctors, nurses and staff of the medical station to express their gratitude for significant contribution of the “back office” team on the business battlefield, who is dedicated to taking care of good health for NBC’s employees during past years.

Attending the meeting were Mr. Dinh Van Thap – NBC’s Deputy Party Committee Secretary cum Managing Director, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh – Trade Union’s Chairwoman cum Managing Director, together with many directors, managers of factories, entities, departments and all staff of the medical station.

From inception to date, the team of doctors, nurses of NBC’s medical station are always side by side with the laborers in each step of development of the Corporation. In addition to provision of health care to officials and employees, food safety, food hygiene and disease prevention, NBC’s medical station also held many highly social community health programs such as: coordinate with the upstream hospitals to provide periodic health examination for employees, participate in the launch of and consultancy for mass media campaign to raise awareness of health protection for officers and employees. Various programs such as, "Health care for workers", "For a smoke-free office", etc. are held annually with the enthusiastic participation of the employees in the Corporation.

On the occasion of Vietnamese Physicians' Day, Mr. Dinh Van Thap congratulated and commended the officials and staff of the medical station for their efforts to fulfill the tasks of taking good health care for workers, and requested them to keep improving knowledge, enhancing skills and improving medical ethics as "Physicians like mothers” as taught by Uncle Ho in order to better serve workers ...
   Dr. Tran Bach Tuyet, on behalf of the medical station, thanked the board of managers for creating the best favorable conditions for them to proving their full capacity and responsibility and thereby also committed that "Medical station will try its best to outstandingly fulfill all tasks as assigned and take good care of workers’ health so that they can feel secured to do their work and contribute to the general success and development of the Corporation ... "
