NBC medical station commemorate Vietnamese Physicians' Day

On the occasion of 55^th anniversary of Vietnamese Physicians' Day (27 February 1955 - 27 February 2012), NBC held the meeting with officials, physicians and workers of the medical station to express its depth gratitude to the “back office” workforce who has made significant contribution in the battlefield of business and devoted themselves to take care of the workers and employees’ health in the Corporation during many past years.

Attending in the meeting are Mr. Dinh Van Thap - Managing Director of NBC, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh -  Managing Director of NBC, Doctor Minh Co – retired Medical Official of NBC, together with directors, managers of factories, entities, divisions and entire officials and employees of the medical station.

Since its establishment to now, NBC medical station’s physicians always go side by side with laborers in every stage of the Corporation’s development.  In addition to taking care of the officials and employees’ health, they also ensure the food safety, eating hygiene, disease prevention and fighting. NBC medical station also held many high social community health programs such as: coordinate with upstream hospitals to conduct regular check-ups for laborers, participate in the organization and consultation of public communication campaigns to enhance the awareness of health protection for its officials and employees. Programs, like “Health of laborers”, “For a smoke-free office”, etc…. annually held and received the enthusiastic response and participation of the Corporation’s officials and employees. Furthermore, every member in the station always learns and improves their professional knowledge to provide better services for laborers.

Also in the meeting, Doctor Bach Tuyet – Head of NBC’s medical station undertook: “NBC medical station shall strive to perform its liabilities in taking care of the laborers’ health. Continuously improve knowledge and professional competence and moral exercise so as to obtain necessary qualification and capability to better serve laborers following the instructions of Uncle Ho: “Kind-hearted doctors like affectionate parents”.
