Annually, on the occasion of the International Children’s Day 1 June, children of workers and employees of Nha Be Garment Corporation (NBC) were very pleased to receive many meaningful gifts. This year, NBC delivered 2,950 gifts worth 118 million dong in total. In which, there are 1,588 toys and 1,362 notebooks for children from 1 – 5, 6 – 15 years old, respectively. In addition to bring joy, enhance small children’s ability to recognize things surrounding, be useful for teenagers, each gift is a piece of encouragement to families of workers and employees working for NBC for a long time.
Also on this occasion, NBC directors expressed their concern to the community through giving gifts to poor children in Nha Be district with the total value of 8 million dong, helping them to have a happy International Children’s Day.
Moreover, in order to motivate children of NBC’s workers and employees to develop and study much better, beside gifts on 1 June, the Union of NBC also organized a program called “Thanh Da Summer Camp 2011” with many practical team activities. In June, NBC also continued to set approval criteria for Nguyen Duc Canh scholarship in 2011 for children of NBC’s workers and employees. This scholarship was held annually by the Corporation as a way to encourage the children to strive for becoming a good child and student, as well as to support and facilitate their parents in workplace.
Expected in 2011, children shall be qualified for Nguyen Duc Canh scholarship upon meeting the following criteria:

NBC not only took care of the living condition of its workers and employees, but also had many programs to improve their mental life. This is one of typical business philosophy and also a factor help NBC to attract more talents and motivate their existing workers and employees to strive to work and maintain a long lasting relationship with the Corporation.
