NBC successfully organized fire drills in 2013

On the morning of 13 November 2013, Nha Be Garment Joint Stock Corporation (NBC) successfully held the rehearsal of fire fighting and rescue plan at its head quarter in collaboration with professional fire fighting force – District 4 and NBC’s fire fighting force.

Attending and directing the rehearsal were Mr. Van Phuoc My - Deputy Head of Fire Department – District 4 – Chief commander; Mr. Vu Van Minh - Chief of Public Security Department of Tan Thuan Dong Ward - Deputy Commander; Mr. Dinh Van Thap - Managing Director of NBC - Deputy Commander.

Given a hypothetical situation that there was a fire in the 3 floor building of finished product warehouse, packaging warehouse and FOB office, when the fire alarm system of the building sounded, the fire fighting force in place promptly detected and carried out the on-site fire fighting plan to control the fire spread and organized the evacuation of people and property out of the building.  At the same time, the fire fighting force transmitted the emergency fire alarm signal and sent information to the Emergency Command Center at Fire Department – District 4. Shortly thereafter, the professional fire fighting force drove fire trucks to the field to coordinate with NBC’s fire fighting force in fire fighting.  The fire was put under control, people and property were evacuated to safe areas.

Every year, NBC always organizes the training course for its fire fighting force to practice the operation of the fire extinguishing systems, expertly manipulating the fire fighting equipment. Besides, these drills are held regularly via coordination in order to raise awareness of fire safety responsibilities for all employees and workers, protection of the property of NBC. It is also an opportunity for NBC’s fire fighting force to learn from its mistakes and improve its proactive fire prevention and fire fighting plans, to be well prepared for any fire embergency, especially in a dry season when fire and explosion events are more likely to occur in factories and enterprises.
