NBC support and visit Heroic Vietnamese Mothers

Following the tradition of “drinking water, remember its source” as well as satisfying inner wishes of more than 17,000 workers and employees in the entire system, the Union of Nha Be Garment Corporation (NBC) paid a visit to Heroic Vietnamese Mothers, policy beneficiary families in Binh Thuan, Vinh Long, Long An, Quang Ngai, Binh Dinh, Da Nang provinces and Ho Chi Minh City...

Subject to the regular program of Gratitude and Commemoration of NBC twice a year, from 22 July 2011 to 27 July 2011, NBC delegation including Executive Committee of the Corporation Union, Executive Committee of factories and divisions, paid a visit, presented gifts and provided financial support for the last six months of 2011 to 16 out of 72 Heroic Vietnamese Mothers, policy beneficiary families in Binh Thuan, Vinh Long, Long An, Quang Ngai, Binh Dinh, Da Nang provinces and Hoc Mon District, Cu Chi District, District 7 (Ho Chi Minh City) who NBC has supported during many years.

Every time NBC visited, mothers were lit up with happiness. Though now in their old age, mothers are still sound in mind, holding hands and asking about the work and families; some mothers got up very early to prepare a meal waiting for the delegation; some mothers burst into tears when meeting the delegation: “While others have their families around, I live alone, I am looking forward to seeing you”. And when the delegation said goodbye, mothers were wet with tears, slided fruits from the garden into their hands “A token of my affection, keep it to warm my heart!”
During 20 years of support, mothers treated NBC like their flesh-and-blood children. Workers and employees of Nha Be Garment Corporation engraved on their memory at all times about the silent sacrifice and considerable services rendered to the country by mothers. Then, they grew bigger love to mothers and pledged to strive and contribute to the development of the country.
