NBC targets to productivity and quality as a base for the sustainable development

In the warm and enthusiastic air of the first day of the New Year, on 21 February 2013, Mr. Vu Duc Giang - the Chairman of the Board of Members of Vietnam Textile and Garment Group, Mr. Tran Quang Nghi - General Director, Mr. Le Trung Hai - Deputy General Director, together with some leaders in the Group's Office 2 attended the opening date of New Year and wished a Happy New Year to all staff and employees of Nha Be Garment Corporation (NBC).

Mr. Pham Phu Cuong – NBC’s Chairman of Board of Directors cum General Director, briefly reported to the Group’s leaders on NBC’s structure and organization as well as its business production and commercial services strategies in 2013. 

With the goal of productivity, quality as the pioneer and the foundation for sustainable development, NBC has built a suitable model for the development of market segments, investments, technology as well as the brand.  In its development strategy, NBC will step by step work under its governance model in financial management, strategic direction ... Especially in the first quarter of 2013, NBC will establish a logistics company in order to create competitive advantage as well as become active in its commercial activities and services aiming at comprehensive development and to transfer from buying CIF selling FOB to buying FOB selling CIF.  It is a powerful breakthrough in NBC’s development strategy.

After New Year kind greetings, Chairman Vu Duc Giang said that he highly appreciated the success that leaders, officials and employees of NBC has obtained during past years.  Accordingly, NBC is now the leading enterprise in the Group in brand development to conquer the domestic market. At the same time, it is the first enterprise in the Group who has built large-scale plan, development strategy, commercial services and management technology linking production with commercial services, technology development.  NBC is also the first who boldly maintains the development of production system of suits, technology transfer to manufacturing units and have been successful in transferring technology of suits production to Hoa Tho entity, following Hoan Kiem and a number of other enterprises in order to bring more effectiveness in production. Especially, Chairman Vu Duc Giang also highly appreciated the innovation in business management with the participation of leading foreign experts in the management team of NBC. It helped NBC to have a quick access to new technology, management methods and the best access to markets and expressly brought a unique in NBC’s working environment as well as its culture.

In order to have a successful performance of its business plan in 2013, Mr. Vu Duc Giang directed NBC’s Board of Directors to have orientation, re-assessment throughout its system, focus on key product lines and further improve high quality products to meet the increasing demand of the market.  NBC needs to come up with solutions to take advantage of trade agreements such as TPP and FTA, to set up young and dedicated team of staff of good qualifications to meet the requirements of new development and to keep on strengthening its position and reputation in domestic and overseas market for the common goal of sustainable development of NBC.
