NBC Worker Union takes care of workers' lives

Determined that workers are the core factor of success and effectiveness of manufacturing and business, for recent years, the Executive Board of the Worker Union of Nha Be Garment Corporation JSC – NBC has proposed many solutions to improve physical and mental life of managers, staff and workers working in the Corporation. At the same time, NBC Worker Union has always promoted awareness of the Party’s direction and perspective, believed in the Party’s reformation process, and tried to improve. Every member of the Worker Union does not worry and can focus on working and giving their best for the company’s expansion and sustainable growth. Thanks to successful promotional and educational work, every year the Worker Union recommends many members to be admitted to the Party. Members of the Worker Union has shown their roles and specialized ability, with some of them becoming important managers of their working unit.

Organizations presented monthly gifts to members of the Worker Union who have difficult lives

Beside raising political awareness and understanding the ideas of the Party in the new situation, NBC Worker Union also cares about promoting new innovation ideas in manufacturing and business activities. Every year, the Executive Board of the Worker Union works with the Youth Union and other organizations to start emulative movements to encourage workers to work enthusiastically; talk with and encourage the members and their family in events of sickness, pregnancy, weddings; make policy payment for the Lunar New Year; organize or facilitate the members to travel and study to improve their profession; organize regular health-check for female workers; participate in art-sports activities, timely award children of managers and staff who achieve good learning results… Besides, under directions of the Leaders, the Worker Union works with organizations such as: the Vietnam National Textile and Garment Group, Vu A Dinh Scholarship Foundation, Union bodies and many companies in and outside of the province, to organize charity social programs to present scholarship to poor but diligent students and minority students with poor living conditions, build charity house, take care of Vietnamese Heroic Mothers and Families of Revolution…

Basing on the actual directions and achievements of the Union’s movements, it can be asserted that: Along with providing political education to members and workers, the emulative movements to encourage all managers, staff and workers to work and produce have achieved practical results, promoted innovative potential of individual; beside application of appropriate policies, timely awarding is also an encouragement for workers to stay with the Corporation. This is also an important lesson and foundation for the sustainable development of NBC.

With the achievement of NBC’s managers, staff and workers in emulative movements of production encouragement, care-taking, legal rights and benefits protection for the Work Union’s members, in 2016, NBC was honored to rank 31st out of 68 companies that won the prize “For your workers” and received many individual or group honor certificates. To enhance the good tradition of more than 40 years as well as to prepare for the following years, all of NBC’s managers, staff and workers are determined to learn and improve their profession, try to be more effective at work; put the mission of building a strong Worker Union as center and promote production encouragement movements to contribute to the development of a more sustainable and stronger NBC.
