Notice of conclusion of the meeting of the Vietnam Women's Committee on the consideration of the 2009 Award

In the morning of September 12, 2009, the Vietnam Women's Prize Committee held a meeting to select the collectives and individuals to propose the Vietnam Women's Prize 2009.

Through the selection process of a total of 33 profiles, (including 17 personal profiles and 16 collective profiles), with the spirit of responsibility, work of the members based on the criteria of the Awards subject The PNVN Award Committee has approved 3 collectives and 10 individuals with excellent achievements to award the 2009 Award as follows:

•  Group:

1.  Women workers, employees, employees of Than Uyen Tea Joint Stock Company, Tan Uyen district, Lai Chau province (nominated by the Provincial Emulation Board of Provincial Department of Home Affairs and Lai Chau Women's Union).

2.  Women cadre, staff of Ho Chi Minh Women Culture House (nominated by Ho Chi Minh Women's Union).

3.   Women's cadre, National Library staff (nominated by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism).

•  Personal :

1.   Ms. Y Venh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, head of the Kon Tum National Assembly delegation (nominated by the Women's Union of Kon Tum province).

2. Ms. Lo Mai Trinh - Secretary of Dien Bien Provincial Party Committee (nominated by Dien Bien Women's Union).

3. Dr. Phan Kim Phuong - Director of Ho Chi Minh City Heart Hospital (nominated by Ho Chi Minh Women's Union).

4. Major Le Thi Linh Chi - Shooting athlete, shooting team - Army Sports Center, Ministry of Defense (recommended by the General Staff, Ministry of Defense).

5. Assoc. Prof. Tran Thi Viet Trung - Director and Editor-in-Chief of Thai Nguyen University Publishing House (nominated by Thai Nguyen Women's Union).

6. Ms. Do Thi Huyen Tam - Chairman of the Board and General Director of Minh Tam Group Joint Stock Company (nominated by the Emulation Board of the Department of Home Affairs and Bac Ninh Women Union).

7. Ta Thi Nhu - Owner of Hai Hien private enterprise, Tam Thanh commune, Phu Quy island district, Binh Thuan province (nominated by Binh Thuan Women's Union).

8. Senior Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Thi Xuan - Head of A38 Department of Dak Lak Police (Dak Lak Provincial Police and Dak Lak Provincial Women's Union).

9. Ms. Luong Ngoc Huong - Chairman of the Board, General Director of Telecommunications Corporation - Informatics - Electronics nominated by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.

10. Ms. Duong Thi Ngoc Dung - General Director of Nha Be Garment Corporation under the Vietnam Textile and Garment Group nominated by the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
